The Mark of the Obese

Beware, beware the mark of the obese
They said as they watched my belt size increase
You ate too much chocolate we knew that you would
Then saw you dive into that rich Christmas pud
You could not resist those decorative sweets
The chocolate cookies and mothers baked treats
You scoffed all that turkey and then asked for more
Now can't see your feet as you look to the floor
You no longer offer to walk with the dog
And turned up your nose when we suggested a jog
A fat couched potato is what you've become
Just watching the tele and nursing that tum
We're concerned for your health the strain on your heart
A programme of weight loss we suggest you do start
We're pleading with you from fat food do cease
For death comes to those with the mark of the obese.
