Did you Know...
Adam and Eve
The first two people in the world were perfect!

They had perfect bodies, and brilliant minds. They could outthink Einstein, and outrun Walker! They would have broken every record in the Olympics without a problem! They could understand things faster than a speeding bullet, and remember things better than a sponge soaks up water! They never caught a cold or had toothache. They were super-duper!

But soon after God made Adam and Eve, He warned them about something."You see this tree with the fruit on it? Don't eat it! If you disobey me " said God, "You will be punished!"

And what was the punishment? Death!

Well things went OK for a while, but then along come the devil and he hated having Adam and Eve around. You see, the devil wanted the whole world all to himself. He didn't like having to share it with anyone!

" I know what I'll do" though the devil, "I'll make Adam and Eve disobey God, so then God will have to kill them, and then I'll have the whole world!"

So the devil tempted Eve. He suggested to her that God didn't really mean what he said. and that the fruit, which God had told Adam and Eve not to eat, was really very good!

"Go on" said the devil. "Have some! Its yummy! And you'll feel great if you eat it! And it will make you wiser!
