Wording of this Handout:
The amazing tie up trick.
I bet you a million dollars I could tie up the strongest man in the world with the weakest thread in the world!
You probably think it is impossible. How could a man with muscles where most people haven't got anything, be tied up by threads so weak and feeble even the slightest breeze could snap them?
Easy! Just keep winding and winding and winding... get the picture? Eventually all the tiny threads will combine to form a thick rope, and then the strongest man in the world will be helpless! In fact, its also possible to build a strong swing bridge across a river, using just grass tied and plated together into ropes.
Habits can be like little weak threads. If we think the same way over and over again, or do the same thing over and over again, we can make a habit. Once the habit is formed, it can be like a rope to bind us, or a bridge to help us across the difficult rivers of life. so think about those habits before they bind you.
What amazing strength!
