ZAPPED AND GONE
An insect zapper is designed to allure insects and then zap/fry them electrically. Satan is very much like that. He lures people only to have them destroyed. Satan has many allurements and attractions that will harm those who follow.

THEY ALL FORSOOK HIM AND FLED finalist in poetry contest
Fear may cause some Christians to deny the Lord or slink away from fellow Christians. This poem considers the Disciples on the betrayal night who for fear, ran away.

FOR MEN - THE THREE G's
The poem examines three of the problems that apply to men (and of course to women also). It is a challenging poem. I hope it will be instructive. There are 9 poems in the series and this is the first one. It covers three attitudes that need to be watched

THE ARTIST AND THE GYPSY GIRL finalist in poetry contest
This outreach poem was taken from a tract that contained a true story. I faithfully retold the story of that tract in poetry form and did it over two years. It is the story of an artist and a model he contracted for him. The highlight is the painting.

BE STILL AND KNOW THAT I AM GOD
There is much expended effort in the Christian life and too much running around. God invites us to be still and see that He is there in every trial and storm of life. The Lord is our strength and support, so be still and know God's presence.

AT HIS FEET
Every knee to Him will bow and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord. There are two options only., firstly to acknowledge who Jesus is and personally receive Him, or secondly, bow at His feet at the great white throne in fear and hopelessness.

OUR GOD IS OUR STRENGTH
This poem resulted from a time in my life when I was utterly cast on the Lord for His help. The Lord was my only hope and became my absolute strength. He won the victory for me - my Deliverer. It is also partly based on Psalm 81.

CAN THEY REALLY KNOW?
The Christian has a hope and ought to know what he/she has done and what lies ahead. The poem reinforces that we can REALLY know. Take it by faith and appropriate it.

CHRIST - OUR SUPPORT IN HURT finalist in poetry contest
Where can I get help for difficult times? We can't solve problems ourselves but we need God's help. God understands when we are having difficulties and we need the Lord to see us through, to be our help in pain. Experience proves God is faithful.
