IGNITIE MY SPIRIT

Ignite my spirit, Holy LORD —
infuse me with Your love.
Fill me with eternal peace —
which comes from You, above.

Wash me clean from head to toe —
heal me with Your grace.
Be ever present in my life
and let me see Your face.

Grant me strength and energy
to fight the enemy.
Stand with me when I'm opposed —
I pray on bended knee.

Let me never walk alone
be ever at my side,
and when I'm faced with troubled times,
be my place to hide.

Show me where I am to go —
come take me by the hand.
Lead me to Your narrow path —
and help me, LORD, to stand.

Shelter me beneath Your wing
and keep me safe from harm.
Don't ever let me strike my foot —
uphold me in Your arms.

Fill me with Your Spirit, LORD,
and guide me through each day.
Speak to me — my heart and soul
in Jesus' name I do pray.
