New Day

A brand-new day is rising,
breathe in His hope and grace;
with all your heart rejoicing
all of His love embrace.

forgiven and alive;
death at last defeated,
we do not have to strive.

Always aware of God's blessing
step forward in His name;
with grateful thanks expressing
His glory we proclaim.

forgiven and alive;
debt has been deleted,
dead hearts He will revive.

Despite what the day may bring
He's always by my side;
I will lift my heart and sing
and in God's strength abide.

finished and completed,
forgiven and alive;
death never repeated,
through His grace – I survive.

Praising with our whole heart
worship God with all of life;
each day our living art,
surrendered despite our strife.

in favour we're seated
