Simple Glee

dancing smiles – full of glee,
parading life all I see,
regret buried in the rush
to claim just now – the past is hush.

stress a concept not defined,
just love's breath and joy entwined,
resting secure in delight,
embracing our God's invite.

nestling sure without restraint,
life filled with vibrant paint,
lines restrictions fading fast,
adult mask's a vast contrast.

faith like a precious child,
journey to an unknown wild,
adventure in Father's presence,
embracing our life's true essence.

Note: contemplating my young granddaughters smiles and glee - not stressing as they paint that they will go beyond the lines and comparing that to the masks that adults hide behind. We are told our faith must be as little children - delighting in God
