HEALING

I see a rainbow at the end of this storm,
After much vitriol, and much reform.
I believe that one day we will look behind,
And see that really, we are all of one kind.

Inside, we all have the same color blood,
And we believe, as all people should,
That mankind was made in God's image,
And we are all made from one lineage.

If we can all come together, and speak as one,
What a great victory we will have won.
I believe God is telling us to unite and find peace,
Then all hatred and fighting will soon cease.

I pray now that you will find it in your heart,
To forgive a relationship that has begun to part.
No matter what you may now be feeling,
Forgiveness is the beginning of healing.
