Transformation

Are you ready to be transformed?
Or are you willing to stay conformed?
Conformed to the world's evil ways…
Even submitting to our own self-praise?

We are all guilty of wanting attention,
But should that really be our intention?
Perhaps we should be looking to the Lord…
Because that's where our treasure is stored.

If we want to be who He wants us to be,
Then we need to make changes that He can see.
He's not concerned how we look on the outside,
About our job, or even where we reside.

He is more interested in looking at our heart,
How we treat others, and how we're set apart.
He wants us to be different than those not saved,
We will be judged by how we have behaved.

Maybe some changes are due in each one,
When it's our time, there's nowhere to run.
If we know Jesus and show others our love…
We'll spend eternity with Him in Heaven above!
