I cannot see the world around
that's just beyond my sight,
where angels live and fight for me
all day and every night.
It's true they're there in whisks of wind
I never can perceive.
Yet, blazing swords around me glow,
His word I must receive.
For in His word, the truth is told
of angels fighting hard,
protecting those who come to Him
from evil, sin has marred.
So blessings fall upon me now
as angels watch and see
how God has worked to cover me
from sin - He set me free.
The battle there now rages on.
Here, evil seems to win.
But mark His word, the battle's won,
for Blood has covered sin.
And angels soon will cheer with us,
shout glories to our God.
Though we be lowly flesh and blood
made only of earth's sod.
2 Kings 6:17
Then Elisha prayed and said, "O Lord, please open his eyes that he may see." So the Lord opened the eyes of the young man, and he saw, and behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha.
Numbers 22:31
