tensions rising, love is lying

dust is choking, spouse provoking

doubts confusing, life just bruising
kids refusing, shame accusing
booze misusing, blame reusing;

burden bearing, heart now tearing
self comparing, curse I'm swearing
friends uncaring, soul despairing;
God is still there for you!

devil scheming, Christ redeeming
sin defeating, love revealing
hope restoring, lives transforming;
God is still there for you!

Father caring, Son not sparing
thorns He's wearing, hearts repairing
grace now daring, us preparing;
God always there for you!
