We Pray for this Country—The US of A

We pray for this country—
the US of A
and all of its people
each night and each day.
It has its own troubles
which causes dismay.
We need You to help, LORD,
we ask You—we pray.
Please humble its people—
turn them from their ways—
away from all evil
for all of their days. . .
LORD,
We ask that You hear us—
each word that we pray.
Please bless us with eyesight
to see Your Pathway.
Forgive our offenses
and give us this day—
Your blessings, dear Father—
help us not to stray.
Restore this great nation—
O' come clear the way.
Renew every spirit—
in Christ's name we pray.
