THANKING THE LORD

When I wake in the morning, I'm singing your song. I thank you dear Lord for another dawn.
I thank you Lord, for watching over me and taking care of all of my needs.
I pray for this day, that I will be strong, bringing glory to you all the day long.
I thank you for my family and friends, and pray for strength to share Jesus with them.
I thank you for sending Jesus your Son. Only through Him can salvation be won.
I thank you for giving me mercy and grace, and for Jesus dying and taking my place.
And when I think of all Jesus has done, my heart fills with love and lots of tears come.
I thank you Lord for saving my soul and give you the glory for making me whole.
As a child of God, I will share your story, planting the seed and giving you the glory.
And one day when you call me home, or come for me in the sky, I will bow down and praise you Lord, forever more on high.
