El Shaddai - God Almighty

He is the great I AM,
the creator of all things,
the Alpha and Omega,
pure goodness does He bring.

He is my sure refuge
in His kindness do I dwell,
the rock on which I stand,
all my fears He does dispel.

He is the King of Kings
yet, grace is at His core,
He does all to bring me home,
no one could love me more.

He's the painter of the world,
the flair in every tree,
He's the colour in my day,
the One who sets me free.

He is the Lord Almighty,
the promise in each sunrise,
the melody in each tune,
in heaven, He is the prize.

He's the lover of my soul,
the One who gives me breath,
prepared to shed His blood,
bringing me back from death.

He is my greatest friend
in Him I can confide,
now resting in His strength,
all needs He does provide.

He's the heartbeat of each day,
the One who gives joy meaning,
the comfort for my sorrow,
in love He is redeeming.

He is my faithful Shepherd,
the green pasture where I rest,
the true depth of my delight,
In His presence I am blessed.

El Shaddai, El Shaddai,
all glory to His name,
El Shaddai, El Shaddai,
His might I will proclaim!
