God Bless The Caregivers

God bless the ones who serve each day,
Their loved ones to assist.
They offer comfort and support,
Just part of a long list.

Compassion means to suffer with
Someone who needs our love.
Caregivers are compassionate
Inspired by God above.

Attending to their loved one's needs
While losing needed rest,
They focus on what need is next,
Their loved one then is blessed.

Responsibilities are large,
And heavy burdens cling.
Yet they press on because they know
They're doing the right thing.

The love they show from day to day
Reveals to all God's care.
His kindness flows through these dear saints
As they so freely share.

God bless the caregivers who serve,
A lonely road they've trod.
Not victims, but disciples, yes,
They are the hands of God.
