Let God Be True

by Kevin Smead © 2024

The wicked of the world have formed alliance,
They shake their fist at God in bold defiance,
They say that you cannot believe the Bible,
This is their shame, their atheistic libel.

They enshrine and codify their unbelief,
Their sheer numbers leave you crying for relief,
But false is false though all the world conspire,
Let God be true and every man a liar.

Speaking truth provokes the wrath of the Kabal,
It's the truth of Christ they hate the most of all,
They will cancel you, if ever you dissent,
Your free will they can't allow, they want consent.

No matter what the cost for non-compliance,
Make God your strength, your hope, your firm reliance.
If they mock and put you through the fire,
Let God be true and every man a liar.

They run you through their camps of higher learning,
To twist and warp your mind their soul is yearning,
They want you to be a product of the state,
So that they control your thoughts and then your fate.

Do not let them dictate your final story,
Do not make them a god, give them no glory,
But hold your faith, whatever may transpire,
Let God be true and every man a liar.

They hope AI will be your new messiah,
To Question them you'll be today's pariah,
For they know all of the programs and the code,
On themselves they think the kingdom is bestowed.

But Fear not these technological elite,
For one day they will bow before your feet,
Resist them and their technical empire,
Let God be true and every man a liar.

We're told this world is all that really matters,
We're promised all our wants upon a platter,
They claim there's nothing for us after death,
So they can make us crawl for one more breath.

Grovel not before the tyrants, fear them not,
For a feathers in their hand, it's all they've got.
When it's your time, in hope and faith expire,
Let God be true and every man a liar.
