Praise and Thank the LORD

by Kristine Stanton © 2024

"Praise the Lord!
Praise God in his sanctuary;
praise him in his mighty heaven!
Praise him for his mighty works;
praise his unequaled greatness!
Praise him with a blast of the ram's horn;
praise him with the lyre and harp!
Praise him with the tambourine and dancing;
praise him with strings and flutes!
Praise him with a clash of cymbals;
praise him with loud clanging cymbals.
Let everything that breathes
sing praises to the Lord!
Praise the Lord!"
(Psalm 150: 1–6, NLT)

We thank you LORD, with heart and soul,
for blessings sent our way.
We sing for joy and honor You
throughout each night and day.

We humbly bow before You, LORD,
and praise Your Holy Name.
We're ever grateful You forgive
our guilt and all our shame.

We praise You, Mighty LORD, our God
with cymbals, lyres, and flutes.
We trust in You with all our hearts,
which no one can refute.

We gather, one and all, to sing
and dance with joy for You.
We praise You for Your mighty works
and for Your greatness, too.

And now we shout from mountaintops
with gratitude and love,
proclaiming You're the LORD, our God,
who reigns in skies above.
