Ode to Reconciliation

by Annie B © 2024

In the vast tapestry of cosmic time,
Where threads of fate and destiny intertwine,
The weaver's hand, with gentle strokes, has penned a line,
Where hearts once torn, now softly beat as one, in time..

Oh, verse of life from ages long ago,
Bids the old to pass, the new to grow;
That speaks of a love that all our debts erase,
Where once was strife, we can embrace God's grace.

Behold the beauty of this sacred bond,
Where souls once shackled in the dungeon's pond,
Now soar on eagle's wings, forever free,
Through Christ, and His sacrifice on the tree

The canvas of our hearts once marred with sin,
Where once was death, in us, eternal kin.
Now cleansed by grace, in Him, we live again,
A new creation, born of love divine and the dead's bloodstain.

Let us embrace this heavenly tide,
Where love and grace forever abide,
As we, with joyous hearts confide,
In Christ, the truth, in whom we're justified.

To live for Him, our daily quest,
Our lives, an offering at His feet,
Where love and grace forever meet,
In sweet communion, our hearts are complete.
