NEW EVERY MORNING

New every morning, new mercies I see.
New every morning, fresh blessings for me.
I love how each and every new day...
I feel God's presence, as I begin to pray.

Oh, Lord, how I love to feel you so near,
And I can hear you whisper in my ear.
I know you are always very close by,
Although I sometimes wonder why.

Why Lord, do you love a sinner like me,
When I sometimes feel so unworthy?
I feel like I don't deserve your love,
Am I really someone You can be proud of?

Then I remember why You love everyone,
So long ago, You sent Your only Son.
He died for us, to save us from sin,
And cleanse all evil, from deep within!

Lord, I love Your mercy and Your grace,
While all our sins You gently erase.
When we ask for forgiveness, our sins are gone,
And to you, dear Jesus, I am forever drawn!
