My Heart Sings for Jesus

My heart sings out for Jesus Christ,
the Savior of my soul.
He grants me peace each waking day
and makes my spirit whole.

Christ leads me on a narrow path
as I stay close to Him,
and when I focus on His Light
it never does grow dim.

His glory shines throughout each day,
surrounding me with peace —
His blessings are innumerable —
they're countless, without cease.

And when I call upon Jesus
He listens faithfully.
He helps me through all challenges
and does so lovingly.

Christ is my Savior — He's my friend —
my Refuge and my King.
Forever I will worship Him
with songs of praise I sing.
