Where Is God?

God is spirit and can't be seen,
Unlimited by size.
Yet He appears in many ways
We may not recognize.

Nature does show the glory of
God's great, creative mind,
And how life reproduces well
By God's brilliant design.

The acts of God in history
Reveal his love and care
For all His children who believe
That He is always there.

Now, think about infinity,
Just how far can it go?
Our mind cannot begin to grasp
What only God can know.

Our living God will answer prayer,
Not just coincidence.
He listens and responds to us,
His love we then will sense.

God lives in holy temples,
Of people who can see
That He seeks to reside in us,
His temple we can be.

God wants to live in us each day
By helping us to love,
With gentle tolerance toward all,
Much like a peaceful dove.

God helps us all to humbly serve
Each other as we live,
Attentively supporting those
Who need the love we give.

We seek to know God more each day.
His closeness is our goal.
People of God are where He lives,
In each believing soul.
