Life Is A Story

Our life is a story
and each page is a day.
It has a beginning
then an ebb and a sway.

It soon comes to an end
as all stories must do.
I hope yours is happy,
and not sad and not blue.

A page may be gloomy,
a few hopefully bright,
so now open to God,
we must let in His light.

He'll write a new ending
if we'll open your heart.
He's gifted at writing.
He'll pen us a new start!

If we write the pages,
there is hurt and there's blame.
Let Him add the pages,
we'll be glad that He came!

His glory he will add
if we let Him do so.
The mix of our stories
will dance and they will glow!

His Story brings us love,
brings us joy, and brings peace.
Our stories might soon end,
but our lives will not cease!
