Walking In God's Ways

Obedience to God is how
We show our love for him,
While God reveals his promise to
Sustain us when life's grim.

God does restore our soul each day
As we live righteously,
And when we fail to obey him,
Confession sets us free.

God wants us all to share his love
With patience and kindness.
No matter how we feel inside,
Our love will surely bless.

The way we love ourselves is how
Others we're told to love,
And when we truly give this way,
God smiles from up above.

Our God has given us his word
For we who truly hear,
So we can be obedient
And stay so very near.

We all can know of God's goodness
As we live day to day,
Because we listen to God's word
And walk in all his ways.
