Healing of the Deeper

there is a healing found
that's deeper than your pain,
restoring connection
cleansing your scarlet stain.

sometimes found in shadows
when we learn to lean on grace,
sometimes riches in the grave,
our pride – with His love replace.

the broken exposing hope
exploring deep our frail hearts,
within His strength and refuge
our fear and selfish way departs.

love deeper than our feelings
embraced now by God's choice,
faithful in His forgiveness
with deep scars we still rejoice.
