the road I'm stumbling on
not paved for fancy dance,
it twists in ways not favoured;
roses scarce - in its glance.
road not built for comfort
but for character of heart,
scarred and dusty landscapes,
with mercy right from the start.
traversing many valleys
so, I can reach grace heights,
journey of deeper beauty;
where Father's kindness lights.
a road where He travels long,
each step taken not alone,
held firm in the strength of grace,
through dark shadows - I am known.
blessed journey filled with hope,
may His light I choose to see;
lead me back to Calvary
the redemption road for me.
the path of Jesus,
is the road for me.
