Mercy Wrapped in Grace

God grants me mercy through life's complicated mess;
Touching me softly with grace while whispering, "You are blessed"
Healing my broken spirit from all the sorrow and pain;
Allowing the sun to shine through rainbows after rain;
When I'm overburdened and lost because of my iniquity;
God's mercy is the blanket that protects and comforts me.
My God overflows with goodness and mercy, unexpected.
Your grace shows I am favored and I am not neglected!
Dear Lord, your mercy towards me is undeserving in all I face;
I forever praise your name for your "mercy wrapped in grace".
