In His Arms

O', have no fear My little one —
you're safe within My arms.
Please do not cry — it breaks my heart —
no one will bring you harm.

I'll be with you both day and night
and shelter you with love.
I'll chase away your scary dreams,
My precious little dove.

Now, close your eyes and try to sleep —
come, rest your weary head.
While in My arms, I'll keep you safe
from all things that you dread.
