Praise the Rock

Praise be to the rock
the rock on which I stand,
raise a hallelujah
lift Him high across the land.

He is a mighty refuge
my place where I can rest,
through every storm and shadow
in His presence I am blessed.

Through grace I have salvation
now free from the chains of sin,
living each day in His strength
with God's love I now begin.

Trusting now in His goodness
letting go of self and shame,
surrendered to His mercy
we're forgiven in Christ's name.

Lift Him high within your heart
by living each day for Him,
sing a melody of praise
making faithfulness your hymn.
