walking without the shade of grace,
learn, learn; love discern
living within the Lord's embrace.

earn, earn; my concern
striving where the stress does not cease,
turn, turn; from my churn
resting in the stillness of God's peace.

rust, rust; my disgust
stained by bitterness and pain,
trust, trust; faith a must
cleansed - our intimacy regain.

lust, lust; truth not fussed
focused on desires and our rights,
dust, dust; we are just
without the Saviour in our sights.

yearn, yearn; His return
seeking the richness of His presence...
