When God was making order out of chaos
He set a standard that will ever be
His spoken Word was clear, for He is Logos
Though man will always make his own decree.
For God would order all men into nations
But men in pride would seek to unify
And build a tower toward their destination
A view where heaven is somewhere in the sky.
Their plans were set at nought, and they were scattered
And did not follow God or know His Love
Used alien ways to find what may be bettered
But would not heed His message from above.
Now man still disregards God's perfect order
And breaks the family unit, in his way
To leave God out, a programme for disorder
For it is man himself he will betray.
God made man and woman in their gender
Which man destroys with demon ways to show
the broken family, yet God's heavenly splendor
Still stretches out, in ceaseless, Loving flow.
In Christ, God's order is restored, displaying
perfection of that Love upon the Tree
For there His wondrous Grace is shown portraying
His perfect order through eternity.
