Warm or Cool

Warm or cool?
The Earth is warm or cool, according to its place
and time, where both present a favourite face
But possibly the warm will win, the sun
preferred, with thoughts of sand, and sea, and fun.
Hot or cold?
But God goes further, with no compromise
Where hot or cold will be before His eyes
And hating any places in between
For only what is hot is in His Scene.
Near or far?
The Sun, would keep us near within His rays
While far, and cold, are mankind's earthly ways
Though some, who keep their feet within each world
May sadly share rejection with the Cold.
Here and now....
Perfection of His call to follow Him
No time to waste, the earthly light is dim
His Light is hot, we ever will remain
Within the warmth of His eternal reign.
Held by Him....
To know His warm embrace, in this our time
A foretaste of His Love for us, sublime
Forever held, through His eternal Grace
We'll see forgiveness etched upon His Face.
