I Believe God Hears This Cry. . .

and the LORD, Most High,
and I believe that prayer has strength —
that God will hear this cry. . .
The world is in a tizzy, LORD,
it's been turned upside down.
The killing sprees are numerous,
as shooters fire rounds.
Please stop the hatred — violence —
division, and all crime.
Grant mercy to the world, dear LORD,
and bring about peacetime.
Unite the world as one, Yahweh,
and be-come one with You.
Come teach all people to forgive —
be understanding, too.
Bless every soul with love and grace
and fill each heart with Truth.
Please fill the void in every life —
the elderly and youth.
Renew each spirit and all souls —
heal every hardened heart.
Embrace the world with gentleness
and grant us a fresh start.
Dress us in Your armor, LORD —
anoint our heads with oil,
and bless the words that cross our lips —
don't let them cause turmoil.
Direct us to Your righteous path —
don't let us go astray.
Deliver us from evil, LORD —
keep us on Your Pathway.
And now, with all my heart. . .
I pray the world has faith in You
and Jesus Christ, Your Son.
May everyone proclaim Your Name
as every soul is won. . .
