Perhaps we only see in black and white
Good or bad, Christ or satan; that is right
But there are many colours in between
And many shades that we may not have seen.
For God has colours we have never known
That flash like glorious rainbows round His Throne
It is the crimson, first to catch the eye
Eternally indelible supply.
His purple robes are backed by heavenly blue
And Eden's greens are soaked with Spirit's dew
With shades of flowers that are unseen on earth
These colours point to an eternal worth.
God's artist brush will only paint with Truth
And colours that His Grace will reproduce
The diadems will flash upon His brow
His coat of many colours, clothes us now.
