Battles in an Unseen Realm

The vicious arrows sent our way
are of the enemy.
He aims to steal, destroy, and kill
and does so heartlessly.

But there are armies in our midst
surrounding us each day.
They're angels sent to de-fend us
so we will not fall prey.

These angels battle on a field —
a realm that we've not seen.
They fight dark forces valiantly
to keep our souls serene...

I pray Yahweh will grant us strength —
to make us ever bold,
so we'll stand firm and won't be moved,
nor will we be controlled. . .

Controlled by forces we don't see —
the evil enemy.
I pray the LORD stands by our side
for all eternity.

And now...

I thank the good LORD every day
for sending in His squad,
to fight dark forces we've not seen
that steal, kill, and defraud.
