Ode to the Exalted Seat

In realms untouched by time's relentless hand
Where starlit whispers dance upon command,
We find ourselves, through love's grand plan,
With Jesus Christ, living with us in the heavenly land.

Seated on a throne of purest light,
Where angels sing in an endless flight,
A place of peace, forever will be bright,
Where every tear will be made forever right.

Our souls, once bound by earthly chains,
Now soar on wings that never strain,
In union with the One who reigns,
In splendor that forever sustains.

He raised us up with Him, so bold,
Where jewels gleam and stories unfold,
In heaven's courts,
Where hearts of old are forever made whole.

In Christ alone, our place is set,
Where cherubs hover. Every debt
Is paid in full, the battle met,
In Him, our life and death are set.

The cross, once bore our heavy load,
Where Jesus' blood did freely flow,
Now marks the way to God's abode,
Where mercy's stream forever grow.

In Him we live, in Him we reign,
With every joy, and every pain.
Adopted children, free from stain,
In Him, will be our life's refrain.

Seated with the Lord of Lords,
Where every secret is explored,
The mysteries of ancient words,
In Jesus, we shall forever adore.

We feast at banquets never ceased,
Where manna falls with heaven's ease,
And rivers of delight are released,
In Jesus, we will find our peace.

The Lamb, who sits upon the throne,
Makes us His own, forever known,
Where angels cast their heavy crowns,
Before the One who bore the crown of thorns alone.

O, wondrous seat, so high and fair,
Where every burden finds its care,
In Jesus' name, we will forever share,
This heavenly place that has been prepared.

Let us, in awe, forever sing,
The praises of our heavenly King,
Whose grace to us will daily bring,
Eternal life, our hearts will sing.

In heaven's realm, we stand so tall,
With Jesus, we shall never fall.
For in His love, we find our call,
Seated with Him, in heaven's hall.
