From Mountaintops

by Kristine Stanton © 2025

"Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,
who has blessed us in the heavenly realms
with every spiritual blessing in Christ."
(Ephesians 1:3, NIV)

From mountaintops I shout Your Name
and praise You, LORD, my King.
With stars that shine throughout the skies,
to You, my God, I sing.

I thank You for the sacrifice
You offered me, with grace —
Your precious Son, LORD Jesus Christ,
You sent to take my place.

I thank You, God, for par-don-ing
the things that I've done wrong.
I'm grateful You have purged my sins
and that You've made me strong.

Yes. . .

When I was weak, You gave me strength
and nourished me each day.
You fed my body, spirit, soul
so I would not fall prey. . .

Fall prey to satan's evil whims —
each one that he's endorsed.
You dressed me in Your armor, God —
my faith You reinforced.

And now I shout from mountaintops
with gratitude and praise.
I thank You, LORD, for being You
and teaching me Your Ways.

I'm ever blessed You hold my heart
that's brimming with Your love.
From deep within my soul, I sing
to You, Yahweh, above.

You are the Living God I love —
Almighty God You are —
All powerful and LORD Most High
who outshines every star.

"Praise the Lord. Praise the Lord, my soul.
I will praise the Lord all my life;
I will sing praise to my God as long as I live."

(Psalm 146:1–2, NIV)
