Forever Thankful

I have so many blessings
This year that I'm so thankful for
Oh-so-very many it's impossible
To even try to keep up to score

I'm thankful for family
And for my three best friends
I'm thankful for Jesus
And my many 'try again's

I'm thankful for my church
And for my big maple tree
I'm thankful for flaxen sunshine
And for sunsets over the sea

I'm thankful for life
And the freedom I possess
I'm thankful for my Bible
Which I can boldly profess

I'm thankful for ChristArt
Which allows me to share
My poems I write
During my special time of prayer

I thank God for these blessings-
These little gifts he sends
And they, like His love,
Will surely never end!
