LISTEN

We need to listen to God, as we pray,
If we want God to respond to the words we say.
He is listening to us, so we should listen too,
He wants to share His thoughts with you.

Listening to God is a valuable tool,
It should become our everyday rule.
If we want to be heard by our Lord,
Let Him know that He's not ignored.

He will have something important to say,
So, let's gently listen as we pray.
He may say it loudly or whisper in our ear,
But it's something we no doubt should hear.

He always knows just what is best,
We should not put Him to the test.
Listen to His voice very carefully,
Then heed His words prayerfully.

We may hear Him through His Word,
Or it may be audibly heard.
Just know when we have heard from God,
His message is never flawed.
