God never said, 'When you see the Blood, you are free'
But when 'I see the Blood, I will pass over you'
Our estimation of Christ's death is not the key
but His, for His own estimation, is our due.
He sees the Blood, and knows its worth, and saving power
Nothing for us to earn; nothing for us to do
His gift of faith, will cause our eyes to turn this hour
When through the eyes of God, we catch that heavenly view.
How can we ever know the power of cleansing Blood?
That God is satisfied; sin's claims are met in full?
Yet condemnation often buries, like a flood
But God would show, that we are cleansed as white as wool.
How can we ever understand His suffering Love?
For we can never estimate the power of Grace
It's only God, who could devise this Plan above
And only He enable us to see His Face.
