The Star of Bethlehem

The Star of Bethlehem
Led to Jesus our King
At Christmas and always,
we owe Him everything

He is the Reason,
He is the Way
He is our strength
for each and every day

During this time of
gifts and bright lights
Let's remember what happened
on that dark, Silent Night

God sent His Son, Jesus
His gift for the world
The Savior needed for
Every man, woman, boy and girl

Wise men from the East
Saw the Star's bright glow
To Bethlehem they travelled
With haste they did go

In the stable they found Him
A Babe so very small
Jesus, the Savior, Messiah
Promised long ago to save all

Praise the Lord and Merry Christmas
May your day be happy and bright
Remember why we celebrate is
Because of what happened that night

Jesus is the Reason for the Season
9 When they had heard the king, they departed; and, lo, the star,
which they saw in the east, went before them, till it came and
stood over where the young child was. 10 When they saw the star,
they rejoiced with exceeding great joy. 11 And when they were come
into the house, they saw the young child with Mary his mother,
and fell down, and worshiped him: and when they had opened
their treasures, they presented unto him gifts; gold,
and frankincense and myrrh. Matt 2:9-11
