He Believes in You

Life may have given you harshness
dark clouds at every turn,
emotions filled with bruises
with lessons you must learn

you may not believe in Jesus
but He still believes in you.

Life may have given troubles
deep pain that you must bear,
hard days filled with suffering
with grief beyond compare.

you may not know the Saviour
but He knows your deepest hurt.

Life may have given treasure
but it will fade and rust,
riches filled with despair
with emptiness and lust.

you may not value Jesus
but He died to give you value.

Life may be so much deeper
then the fleeting that you know,
rich mercy filled with fresh hope
with His glory for the low.

you may not deserve this mercy
but He gives it to make you whole.

Life may last longer than you think
way beyond your final breath,
you may not think your worthy
still His grace defines your wealth.

He has loved you from the start
for He's always believed in you.
