Let Your Light Shine

Don't let another dim your light;
shine brightly through and through.
Spread your joy throughout the world;
bless those surrounding you.
Communicate the cheerfulness
found deep within your soul.
Share this gift with those you meet
and help them to feel whole.
Find joy in cloudy days and rain
and when the sun shines too.
Delight in songs found in your heart,
and all that you pursue.
Dance to the music that you hear;
a beat that's all your own.
Don't let another interfere;
strut like you're all alone.
Give thanks to God for all His gifts
and wondrous works He's done.
Be grateful for the days ahead
and greet each rising sun.
