My Heart Belongs to Jesus

and took my sins from me.
I am forever grateful
that He has set me free.
And now I vow to follow —
take up my Savior's cross
each day of my life's journey
to thank Christ for His loss...
My heart belongs to Jesus,
my sweet, be-lov-ed King.
Forever I will praise Him
with every song I sing.
I know that Christ is with me —
He dwells within my heart
and though I do not see Him,
I know we're n'er apart.
His Light shines in and through me —
my soul rests in His peace.
I live amid His presence —
my joy will never cease.
His voice is a soft whisper
I hear within my heart
and every word's a blessing
a blessing He imparts.
My eyes are ever focused
on Christ — He leads the way.
I follow in His footsteps
so I will never stray.
