One in Christ

One in Christ! Oh sweet communion!
One in Christ is what we ought to be
Free from strife and sin's division
With our Master Who has set us free
Now we stand with steadfast vision
With the mind of Christ our tie that binds
One in Christ! Oh blessed union
Which souls in sin don't understand!

For the Lord we will steadfastly
Work together for His cause is right
When united as one body
We can shine to dying men the light
Boldness, then, is what we ask for
Strength to labor in the Master's will
We don't pine for worldly honor
Instead we look to Calvary's hill

One bless'd body, no division
One bless'd Gospel which lost souls will save
Harmony is God's provision
Thro' the One Who triumphed o'er the grave
Now we stand safe in His keeping
And the gates of Hell shall not prevail
We shall through the air go sweeping
And shall leave behind this finite vale
