CHILDREN SHOW LOVE

I saw love at work this morning,
As I drove to town.
Two young children waiting
For the school bus to come around.

The weather was below freezing,
And I could tell both were very cold.
Big sister was protecting little brother,
Without her being told.

The little boy was standing
With his face buried in her breast.
She had her arms around him,
Attempting to do her best.

As I watched them standing there,
My thoughts were taken back.
To other children in the world,
And the love they all lack.

It's not only little children
That have no love in their life.
All ages of people in the world,
Who's life is filled with strife.

The little boy and girl I saw today,
Have love between those two.
The same love that Jesus offers,
Is intended just for you.

All you do is ask,
Then you can receive.
It is just that simple,
You only have to believe.
