Here God

by Kristine Stanton © 2026

"Cast your cares on the Lord
and he will sustain you;
he will never let
the righteous be shaken."
(Psalm 55:22, NIV)

Here God,
I gathered up my burdens
and give them all to You.
I found I do not need them;
they only make me blue.

No longer can I bear them—
they've made my life a mess.
I'm hindered by my troubles;
they bind me, I confess.

I'm weary, LORD; please help me—
I have become quite weak.
You're stronger, wiser, than I am—
it's Your help that I seek.

Now that I have given You
this bundled, cluttered mess,
I can go to sleep at night,
detached from worries—stress.

Thank You for Your help, dear LORD—
You are my saving grace.
Thank You for relieving me
of troubles that I face.
