I Once was Blind

I once was blind, but now I see
what Jesus did for me.
A sinner who is now redeemed—
my Savior set me free.

He placed His hands upon my eyes
and blessed me evermore.
I then repented of my sins
and followed Christ, my LORD.

Christ gave me strength and saw me through
each challenge that I faced.
Through Him I learned how to forgive
with mercy, love, and grace.

He also led me to a path—
a straight and narrow one;
a path that leads to Heaven's gates
when life on Earth is done.

I place my trust in Jesus Christ—
He's taught me right from wrong.
Because of Him, my faith has grown
to be forever strong.
