Let Go of Worries

by Kristine Stanton © 2026

"Do not be anxious about anything."
(Philippians 4: 6, NIV)

The day's just starting out, my friend,
please make it a good one.
Turn frowns to smiles—giggle—laugh,
and welcome in the sun.

Right now I haven't any cares,
and wish the same for you.
Go out, have fun, hang upside down,
and watch gray skies turn blue.

Be free and listen to each sound—
embrace the world you see.
Don't cling to worries—let them go—
be happy just like me.

"Can any one of you
by worrying
add a single hour to your life?...
Therefore do not worry about tomorrow."
(Matthew 6:27, 34, NIV)
