Somewhere in the distant
where the sunsets are all sweet,
Somewhere in the wishful
where fate and hope, plan to meet.
Somehow, I never get there
still stuck where pain remains,
Somehow the scars still haunt me
my faith is left in chains…
Sometimes in the shadows
I learn to lean on Thee,
Sometimes in my broken
God becomes my only plea.
Someplace in the quiet
where I listen to God's voice,
Someplace in surrender
I learn how to rejoice.
Someone on wooden cross
the bread He gave for me,
Someone's precious blood
the wine that sets me free.
