Through Troubled Times

This year has had its ups and downs—
the challenges diverse.
Each family member has endured
what some may call a curse.
But in the mix, there've been great times
when laughter has been found.
It's proved to be "good medicine"—
divine to be around.
The one thing that we can't deny:
the LORD's been by our side.
He's sheltered us beneath His wing,
where we could safely hide.
He's filled the void in all our lives—
sustained our every need,
and lifted us from hopelessness;
from sadness we've been freed.
No matter what we've all been through,
we've never been alone.
Our Father has been good to us—
He is our Cornerstone.
